Councillor Robert McKee

Elected in May 2016 and serving in his first term on Moncton City Council, Robert McKee brings a legal, business and accounting background to his position as councillor for Ward 3. 

A practicing lawyer with a focus on criminal defence, Robert works at Moncton law firm Fowler & Fowler.  A Catholic boarding school graduate of Athol Murray College of Notre Dame in Wilcox, Saskatchewan, he has a Bachelor of Laws from l’Université de Moncton, a Bachelor of Applied Management (Accounting) from the University of New Brunswick (Saint John) as well as a Business Diploma from NBCC Moncton.

In serving the residents of Ward 3, Robert believes being accessible and respecting the needs of constituents are key to effectively representing them. He is grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of residents and is committed to being an active and engaged councillor in the community. 

Robert and his wife, Tara, are the proud parents of two young children, Michael and Anna. In addition to spending time with family, he enjoys recreational sports and played minor hockey, football and soccer in his youth. Robert is also a former player and executive member of the Moncton Black Tide Rugby Club.
