The City of Moncton operates under a council/city manager form of government. While City Council is the elected voice of the citizens and makes the major policy decisions, the city manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the City and reports directly to City Council.
The City of Moncton has a team of approximately 600 people on the leading edge of policy and program development and service delivery in Atlantic Canada. We also hire approximately 200 students in the summer.
