Mayor's Message

A message from Mayor George LeBlanc

I am humbled by the mandate I have been given for the next four years and want to thank all Monctonians for the trust you have placed in me.

We begin with the job of implementing an ambitious Action Plan, which is based upon two fundamental pillars: to enhance our quality of life and to aggressively seek prosperity.  While some things will take time, other items will be accomplished quickly. We will be careful in spending, fair in taxation and aggressive in seeking economic opportunities.

Your new council combines members with tremendous experience with the fresh energy and ideas of new members. I look forward to working with them on your behalf.

I believe Moncton is the best city in the world in which to live, work and raise a family. Together we can build an even better Moncton!
