2013 March Break Activities

MONCTON – The City of Moncton Parks and Leisure Services invite everyone to get active and in motion during March Break with a variety of free and affordable activities.

The Crossman Community Centre/Kay Arena, Centennial Park, YMCA Greater Moncton and the St. Pat’s Family Centre will all be offering many fun events for people of all ages from March 4-8:
 
Public Swim – YMCA Greater Moncton
*$2/person

Monday, March 4:      1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.  • All ages
Wednesday, March 6: 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. • All ages
Friday, March 8:         1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. • All ages
 
Public Swim – St. Pat’s Family Centre
*$2/person

Tuesday, March 5:      3:30 p.m. – 5 p.m. • All ages
Thursday, March 7:     3:30 p.m. – 5 p.m. • All ages
 
Free Skate – Crossman Community Centre/Kay Arena
*Public skating times listed are for March Break only

Monday, March 4:      11:30 a.m. – 1: 30 p.m.           • All ages
Tuesday, March 5:      1:15 p.m. – 3:15 p.m.             • All ages
Wednesday, March 6: 11:30 a.m. – 1: 30 p.m.            • All ages
Thursday, March 7:     1:15 p.m. – 3:15 p.m.             • All ages
 
Open Gym – Crossman Community Centre/ Kay Arena
*Youth ages 5-12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian

Parents & Tots:         10 a.m. – noon           • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
Youth grades K-4:      2:15 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.   • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday
Youth grades 5-12:     3:30 p.m. – 4:45 p.m.   • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday
 
Introduction to Cross Country Skiing and Snowshoeing – Centennial Park Rotary Lodge
*$2/person

Tuesday, March 5:      between 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.          • Youth ages 12 +
Thursday, March 7:     between 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.          • Youth ages 12 +
 
Note: Equipment available but dress appropriately (two layers of clothing, winter hat, gloves, etc…). Hot chocolate will be provided! Registration: 853-3507.
