Acoustica presents Lauren Barnes, Christine & Janelle Melanson, and Little Rusty Band

MONCTON - This week, Acoustica presents Lauren Barnes, Christine & Janelle Melanson and Little Rusty Band!

Nineteen-year-old Lauren Barnes has been involved in music since the age of four. She has participated in the Greater Moncton Music Festival for 13 years and the Provincial Music festival for 6 years. A former member of the New Brunswick Youth Orchestra, she traveled to Germany and Austria in 2010 where NBYO won 1st place at the Summa Cum Laude international competition in Vienna. Lauren Barnes will be on stage with her violin this Tuesday, July 30th, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Victoria Park.

Fiddling, step-dancing sisters, Christine & Janelle Melanson, have been playing music for over 10 years! Since the age of four, it’s been hard not to find them with fiddles in their hands! Put your dancing shoes on and prepare for a fantastic afternoon this Thursday, August 1st, from noon until 1 p.m. at the City Hall Plaza!

Little Rusty Band is a four-piece country/rock band based in Moncton. With two lead vocalists and extremely tight harmonies, Little Rusty Band is able to provide an unparalleled dynamic and entertaining mix of both classic and new country music, as well as classic rock. Don’t miss them Thursday, August 1st, at 7 p.m. at the City Hall Plaza.
