Acoustica welcomes Pierre et Maurice, Samantha Robichaud and Les Jeunes d’Asteure!

July 21, 2014

This week Acoustica presents Pierre et Maurice, Samantha Robichaud and Les Jeunes d’Asteure!

Pierre LeBlanc and Maurice Daigle have been playing music together for about 12 years. Their brand of acoustic music mixes Acadian, folk, country and classic rock styles. They play in bars, wedding receptions and festivals all over the place. Come and enjoy the musical styling of Pierre et Maurice at Victoria Park this Tuesday, July 22, from 7 to 8 p.m.!
Samantha Robichaud’s passion, desire and drive have led her to achieve incredible success in just a short time. Samantha performed in the 2010 Vancouver Olympics Opening Ceremony, won the "Fans Choice” at the 2010 East Coast Music Awards and composed and performed on the Documentary CD “This Is My America" with Dolly Parton and Mark O'Connor. Bring your lunch and enjoy some great entertainment at City Hall Plaza from noon to 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 24 as part of the Codiac Music Festival.

Les Jeunes d’Asteure is a francophone quintet based out of Moncton. Since the release of their demo “Awesomerie Sessions” in March 2013, the group has been performing on the local scene while expanding on their original material. Rock, soul, jazz and prog converge in a modern feel that is both explosive and rousing. Come out this Thursday, July 24, from 7 to 8 pm at City Hall Plaza and enjoy Les Jeunes d’Asteure as part of the Codiac Music Festival!

The City of Moncton’s outdoor Acoustica concert series is presented by Caisse populaire Beauséjour, C103 and supported by partner Pepsi.

All concerts are free of charge. Seating will be available on site.
