Boil Order Advisory Lifted

February 11, 2013

MONCTON – The two water tests taken as a result of the service line break on Salisbury Road are negative and reveal no contamination.  As a result, the provincial Department of Health has authorized the City of Moncton to lift the boil order advisory for the area. As such, effective immediately, city water is safe to ingest without boiling.

The City of Moncton thanks residents for their patience during this situation and apologizes for the inconvenience. However, the health and safety of our citizens is our number one concern.
