City urges residents to stay off the ice

January 6, 2016

MONCTON – The City of Moncton wishes to advise residents that ice conditions at Centennial Park pond and Jones Lake are unsafe due to insufficient thickness and these outdoor skating areas on natural water bodies are closed until further notice.

Visit moncton.ca for current ice and trail conditions, and to view the indoor public skating schedule.

The City of Moncton thanks citizens for their cooperation in this matter.
