MONCTON – Codiac Transpo is partnering with the Food Depot Alimentaire to collect non-perishable food items on Thursday, May 26th. This food drive will take place throughout the day, on all routes. In exchange for donations, customers will receive a free one-way ride.

“Codiac Transpo is pleased to partner with the Food Depot Alimentaire, and we are confident that our customers will gladly support this initiative,” said Marie-Claire Pierce, Senior Transit Planner for Codiac Transpo.

“With nearly 6,000 riders daily, we’re certain that this new initiative will be a great success!” added Dale Hicks, president of the Food Depot Alimentaire’s Board of Directors. “Monctonians are known for their outstanding generosity, and this partnership with Codiac Transpo will help the FDA stock up its shelves.”
