Codiac Transpo Route changes to be launched on September 1.

MONCTON – Beginning on September 1, adjustments will be made to a number of Codiac Transpo routes in Moncton and Dieppe.

While the full schedules and maps will be posted online at www.codiactranspo.ca on September 1, highlights include:

• 50-Red Line: Service to Université de Moncton resumes; route change from Northwest Centre to Champlain Place; refer to new schedule for service hours.
• 60-Bessborough:  Minor time adjustment on last trip of the day, Monday to Saturday.
• 61-Elmwood and 63-Lewisville: These buses now operate independently; the 61-Elmwood bus will only provide trips on the Elmwood route schedule, and the 63-Lewisville bus will only provide trips on the Lewisville route schedule.
• 66-Caledonia: Adjusted late afternoon schedule, Monday to Saturday.
• 68-Salisbury: Minor time adjustment on last trip of the day, Monday to Saturday.
• 72-St. George: This pilot project offering service Tuesdays and Thursdays from May 5 to August 31 will not be continued.
• 73-Elmwood Downtown/Centre-ville: New route offering several weekday trips in early morning and late afternoon, from Elmwood/Hennessey/McLaughlin areas to downtown business district.
• Magnetic Hill: This is a seasonal bus route offering its last day of service on August 31 until next summer.

The City of Dieppe has instituted a re-designed service offering increased frequency of service on weekdays, in the early morning and late afternoon. All routes have been re-named as the service areas and timetables have changed. Please obtain new schedules.

• 93-Champlain: A new route serving areas including Champlain, Dawson, Adélard-Savoie, Chartersville Rd., and Dieppe Blvd.
• 94-Centrale: A new route serving areas including Gauvin, Thomas, Centrale, Tranquille, Bourque, and Pascal.
• 95-Amirault: A new route serving areas including Acadie, Amirault, Fox Creek and Melanson.

Taxi shuttles will be serving the following 2 areas:
• Starting at Amirault and Fox Creek Road to J.F. Bourgeois and Dover as far as Ulysse, Sophie and André.
• Starting at the corner of Champlain and Chartersville to Lakebrun Lumber.
 
Please note that due to the Labour Day holiday, there will be no bus service on Monday, September 2, 2013.
