Codiac Transpo routes return to regular service hours on Sunday, September 3

MONCTON – Beginning on Sunday, September 3, 2017, Codiac Transpo routes will return to its regular service hours after a successful recruitment campaign.

Summary of changes:

  • Late night service hours will resume on 51, 52, 61A, 63, 64, 65, 70, 71, 93, 94, 95.
  • The 50 Red Line will continue to depart from the South side of Plaza Blvd. (Best Buy side).
  • Evening service will be back to regular frequency on 50 Red, 62 Hildegard, 63 Lewisville and 65 Killam. 
  • 61 and 61B Elmwood buses will continue along Université and Morton and will not travel on Antonine-Maillet and Pascal-Poirier.
  • 65 Killam will continue to depart from the Plaza North side (Walmart) and travelling directly to the Cineplex on Trinity, and will then resume its run to the hospital.
  • 66 Caledonia will be back to regular service hours at noon and weekends.
  • To make better connections during early morning and late afternoon traffic periods, the following routes will continue to offer 40-minute frequency periods Monday to Friday.  (50, 60, 61, 61B, 62, 63, 64, 64B, 65, 67, 68, 70, 71, 80).  Routes will then revert back to 30 minute frequency outside of peak traffic times.
  • Magnetic Hill shuttle last day for the season is September 2.
  • The 64B will be serviced by a Codiac Transpo bus.
