Codiac Transpo to add two more bus routes on January 6th

Moncton – Codiac Transpo today announced that two more routes will start on Sunday, January 6, 2013. Additional routes will continue to be added as buses become available until the full service is in place. Codiac Transpo’s full service will be up and running before the end of January 2013. The service is free until January 31, 2013.
Routes to be added on January 6 are:

  • 67 Edinburgh
  • 90 Express Dieppe

These two new routes will be added to the existing routes already in service, including:

  • 50 Red Line (Northwest Center to Champlain Place via Wheeler Blvd.)
  • 51 Green Line (Mountain Road service)
  • 52 Blue Line (Main Street service)
  • 60 Bessborough
  • 61 Elmwood
  • 62 Hildegard
  • 63 Lewisville
  •  64 Hospitals
  • 65 Killam (including access to Trinity Drive Power Centre)
  • 68 Salisbury
  • 81 Riverview
  • 91 Champlain
  • 92 Amirault

The Taxi Chit Program will remain in place until Codiac Transpo’s complete system is up and running. Moncton residents may obtain taxi chits at Moncton City Hall or by calling 857-2008; Dieppe residents may obtain taxi chits at Dieppe City Hall or by calling 877-7900; and Riverview residents may obtain taxi chits at Riverview Town Hall or by calling 387-2020.
Customers who purchased a July monthly pass, and did not get reimbursed, can use their July pass throughout the month of February 2013. Simply show your July pass when boarding a Codiac Transpo bus in February.
Anyone who still has a June pass can exchange it for a 20-ride punch pass. For more information on how to exchange a June bus pass, customers can contact Codiac Transpo at 857-2008.
