Construction of Canadian Heights Park

May 20, 2015

MONCTON – The City of Moncton would like to advise the public of reconstruction of Canadian Heights Park, between Crown Crescent and Chelsea Road, beginning on Wednesday, May 20.

The community park will contain new play equipment, a swing set, park benches and an open play area which could be used for a skating rink in winter months. Duration of the construction is expected to be two months.

The City regrets any inconvenience this may cause and appreciates your patience during construction of the new park for the community.

This project is part of the overall Recreation Master Plan which was approved by Moncton City Council in 2010. The goal of the multi-year plan is to provide every community with public green space within five minutes walking distance of their front door.

For more information, please contact the City of Moncton’s Parks and Leisure Services department at 853-3516.
