Construction of Multipurpose Trail
From Mapleton Road to Reade Street Park

MONCTON – The City of Moncton would like to advise of construction along the Rabbit Brook and Kendra Street area beginning Thursday, June 16 for the construction of a multipurpose trail.

The new trail will begin at the intersection of Carson Drive and Mapleton Road and will follow Rabbit Brook to Kendra Street, to eventually join with the existing trail at Reade Street Park. Duration of the construction is expected to be three months.

This project is part of the overall Active Transportation Plan. The goal of the plan is to provide every neighbourhood with a multipurpose trail within five to ten minutes walking distance of their front door.

The City regrets any inconvenience this may cause and appreciates your patience during construction of the new trail in the community. For more information, please contact the City of Moncton’s Parks and Leisure department at 853-3516.
