Disposal service for downed trees due to ice storm

MONCTON – The City of Moncton is offering curbside collection, as well as drop-off locations until Friday, February 3 for residents with downed trees or branches due to the ice storm which hit the region.

Residents can drop off their downed trees or branches at the following locations:

  • Mapleton Park (Gorge Road entrance)
  • Moncton Coliseum
  • Ball Field on Crowley Farm Road

Residents can also drop off their trees and branches, as well as wasted food items free of charge at Southeast Eco 360 (100 Bill Slater Drive).

To schedule a curbside collection of trees or branches, residents will need to contact the City’s dispatch line at 506-859-2643. Residents will also need to bundle the trees with rope in pieces not exceeding 1.2 meters (4 feet) in length.
