Downtown on-street parking survey

July 3, 2013

MONCTON – The City of Moncton wishes to advise the public that it will be conducting an intercept survey in downtown Moncton beginning the week of July 1st pertaining to the Downtown on-street parking pilot project.

“We’re approaching the one year mark since the City has implemented the Downtown on-street pilot project, and we’re hoping to get feedback from residents and visitors, as well as any suggestions they may have,” said Stéphane Thibodeau, Transportation and Parking Coordinator with the City of Moncton.

Police cadets will be circulating the downtown area for a period of approximately three weeks on Main Street (between Highfield Street and Assomption Boulevard) and Queen Street (between Alma Street and Robinson Street) in order to engage the public for feedback regarding the Downtown on-street parking pilot project.

The City of Moncton appreciates the public’s cooperation with this initiative and welcomes any comments or criticisms about the project.
