Elmwood Drive Booster Station

October 25, 2013

MONCTON – The City of Moncton would like to advise residents that crews will be removing trees and shrubs next week in the Irishtown Nature Park along Elmwood Drive to prepare for the construction of the Elmwood Drive Booster Station with attached public washrooms and the expansion of the parking area.

Mayflowers were encountered during preliminary surveys; the design and building location were modified to maintain these plants.  The Mayflower area will be flagged to ensure they are maintained.

Work will start on Monday, October 28. The Irishtown Nature Park trails will remain open during this operation, however the City asks that those using the trails exercise caution around the affected area.

The City of Moncton apologizes for any inconvenience and appreciates the patience and cooperation of residents.
