Enjoy Whoa Canada! Celebrations in Downtown Moncton on July 1st!

June 19, 2013

Lounsbury Group presents Whoa Canada!

Downtown Moncton is the place to be for Canada Day with fun for the entire family. So put on your best red and white and get ready to sing WHOA Canada!

MONCTON – Come celebrate Canada Day in Downtown Moncton where Colin James will headline the biggest FREE party around. James and his band will bring their brand of rock/blues to Moncton for Canada Day and will cap off a great day of festivities in the heart of our downtown.

The Whoa Canada! main stage, located directly under the pedway in front of Moncton City Hall at 655 Main Street, will light up on July 1 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Performers include:

  • Monique Poirier
  • Tim Chaisson
  • La Bottine Souriante
  • Colin James

Once the applause has quieted and Colin James has left the stage, the crowd’s attention will be directed to the riverfront, where the annual ‘Canada Day Fireworks Display’ will begin. Spectators are invited to enjoy the fireworks on Riverfront Park in downtown Moncton, for the best view. The fireworks are a presentation of the City of Moncton, the Town of Riverview, the City of Dieppe, and Crystal Palace.

Moncton’s Whoa Canada! party is more than just live music and fireworks, however. Throughout the day, Moncton’s downtown will be host to Canada Day celebrations to be enjoyed by all.
