Extension of closure on Main Street between Cameron Street and Bonaccord Street

MONCTON – The City of Moncton wishes to advise the motoring public that the closure of Main Street, between Cameron Street and Bonaccord Street, has been extended until Friday, August 26, weather permitting. 

This closure is to allow for the renewal of a water main by a method called Cured In Place Pipe (CIPP). 

Main Street will be closed to through traffic from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. The night construction will occur from Sunday to Thursday with Main Street reopening outside of construction hours and from Friday to Sunday.

Detours will be in place and delays are to be expected in the area as traffic will be slowed.   

The City apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciates the patience and cooperation of residents and the motoring public.
