MONCTON - The City of Moncton is happy to offer free transportation services to the two remaining matches of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Canada 2014. For the quarter-final match on Sunday, August 17 and the semi-final match on Wednesday, August 20 both the Park ‘N Ride service and Codiac Transpo will be offered FREE OF CHARGE to all ticket holders, courtesy of the City of Moncton.

Explains Don MacLellan, General Manager (Community Safety Services): “Considering that Moncton is the smallest city to host both the 2014 and 2015 tournaments, there are learnings for all parties in terms of how we serve the fans.

These nuances will be applied to the FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015, and public transportation will be a key piece in this in an effort to make it the best possible experience for all fans.

In the meantime, we’re pleased to offer the free transportation options to residents and visitors for Moncton’s final two event days, and encourage soccer fans to come support these talented athletes for the quarter-final and semi-final matches!”
