Glass Tiger to headline Atlantic Nationals Downtown Street Party

June 22, 2017

MONCTON – Canadian rock legend Alan Frew is returning to Moncton, following a successful Canada Day 2016 show, this time with the full Glass Tiger lineup to headline the Atlantic Nationals Automotive Extravaganza’s special Canada 150 main stage on Friday, July 7!

“Glass Tiger has had a lasting impact on the Canadian rock scene. Having Glass Tiger on Canada 150 stage for the Atlantic Nationals Friday night street party, how can it possibly get any more Canadian than that,” said Moncton Mayor Dawn Arnold.

The Main Stage for the Friday night street party is made possible by the Community Fund for Canada’s 150th, a collaboration between the City of Moncton, the Government of Canada, and extraordinary leaders from coast to coast to coast.

“From iconic cars, to an iconic Canadian band, we are geared up to put on quite a show for everyone” said Show Chairman Bill Doherty “The beauty of this event is that you can take in the beautiful display of cars, have a bite to eat at one of the great restaurants downtown and cap it off with a show that will not disappoint”

Main Street will be closed for the All-Day Cruise-In as of 8 a.m. (on July 7). Then at 6 p.m., the Canada 150 Main Stage comes alive with local performers Old School, Melissa Hunt, and Mojo before Glass Tiger hits the stage.

In addition to the Friday night programming, the Atlantic Nationals Automotive Extravaganza will extend throughout the weekend at Moncton’s Centennial Park. For full event details, visit atlanticnationals.com
