Goodbye “In the Money” exhibit – Hello Canada 150 bank note!

April 26, 2017

MONCTON — As we prepare to bid farewell to our current travelling exhibit, In the Money, Resurgo Place invites you to drop by on Saturday, April 29, 2017 from 10 am to 3 pm for a very special opportunity. In collaboration with the Bank of Canada’s regional office for the Atlantic Provinces, visitors will have a chance to examine the Canada 150 bank note before it is issued into circulation!

The many design features of this special commemorative bank note, marking the 150th anniversary of Confederation, not only celebrates our history, but our land and culture as well.

In addition, our local numismatic establishment, The Coin Cabinet, will be joining us on Friday and Saturday (10 am – 5 pm). They will be offering their services to identify and evaluate coins, tokens, medals and banknotes from Canada and around the world! Visitors are invited to bring in some of their treasured finds if they’re curious to know more about them. Appraisals can also be provided for gold and silver currency.

*These activities are included with paid admission.
