Holiday Waste Collection and Christmas Tree Disposal

December 16, 2015

MONCTON – The City of Moncton would like to notify residents that there will be no waste collection on Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day. Residents whose waste pickup falls on these days should consult the following collection changes:

Waste Collection Changes

  • If your regular waste pick-up falls on Friday, December 25 and Friday, January 1st, please place your bags at curbside by 12:01 a.m. on Saturday, January 2.
Waste collection for days other than those noted remains the same.

The increased volume of household waste during the holidays may cause delays to the waste collection. The City of Moncton appreciates your patience.
Remember:  Cardboard must be broken down and placed in a transparent blue bag, or bundled and tied with no dimension exceeding 0.6 metres (2 feet). To ensure the safety of collection staff, please do not place waste on snow banks. Info: 859-2643
