Homarus Eco-Centre to offer MOBILE LABORATORY at Resurgo Place

October 4, 2017

MONCTON — Resurgo Place is delighted to team up with the Homarus Eco-Centre again this fall and winter to introduce curious visitors to the strange, wonderful, and genuinely wild critters that call the Northumberland Straight home.

Join us on Saturday, October 7 (10 a.m. to 12 p.m.) for the first edition of this year’s MOBILE LABORATORY at Resurgo Place to meet your nautical neighbors and explore our aquatic environment! Friendly Homarus representatives will be on hand to offer interactive activities and marine species identification with their touch tanks. This activity is included with paid admission to Resurgo Place and adult supervision is required.

The Homarus Eco-Centre is an interpretive center strives to provide a unique and interactive educational experience related to the mysterious world of lobsters and marine ecosystems. Established in 2013 by Homarus Inc., a non-profit organization created by the Maritime Fishermen's Union (MFU), the center is located at the Point-du-Chêne wharf in Shediac, NB.
Resurgo Place is located at 20 Mountain Road in Moncton.
Hours of operation: Tuesday - Saturday (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.) and Sunday (12 p.m. to 5 p.m.)
Open until 8 p.m. on the last Thursday of every month.
