Invitation to Destination2040’s Public Visioning Session

September 16, 2013

MONCTON - What if Mountain Road, Champlain Street and Coverdale Road were converted to cycling routes only? What would you do if you could no longer drive your car? Transportation is important to all of us. The City of Moncton, City of Dieppe and Town of Riverview are asking residents to help identify different transportation needs for the Tri-Community.

Join us for our Public Visioning Session on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Empress Theatre, next to the Capitol Theatre, and share with us your vision for the future.

- 30 -

Destination2040 - Transportation is more than just moving people, goods and services. It is an integrated system that connects people, influences their day-to-day activities and promotes a healthy, sustainable and vibrant community now and in the future. The Regional Sustainable Transportation Master Plan (RSTMP) Study will look at the current infrastructure and plan for the future integrated transportation system in the City of Moncton, the City of Dieppe and the Town of Riverview.
