Lane Closure on St. George Street

May 27, 2013

MONCTON – The City of Moncton wishes to advise the motoring public that St George Street, between Church and Alma Streets, will be reduced to one lane of traffic from Monday, May 27 to Friday, June 7, 2013.

Motorists going East on St George Street will be detoured on Church, Victoria, Alma and back to St. George Street. Motorists travelling West on St. George Street will remain on St. George Street.

This lane closure is to install cured-in-place structural lining on the aqueduct under the railway.
Delays are to be expected in the area as traffic will be slowed. Motorists are advised to use an alternative route to avoid the construction area.

The City apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciates the patience and cooperation of residents and the motoring public.
