MFD investigates suspicious fire on Wesley Street

June 19, 2013

MONCTON – The Moncton Fire Department is now investigating, in collaboration with the Codiac RCMP, what has been deemed a suspicious fire at 162 Wesley Street.

The call was made at approximately 12:15 a.m., by neighbours claiming they heard explosions. The building was completely engulfed when firefighters arrived, so the fire was fought from the outside. Firefighters spent 3 hours on the scene.

Results of the investigation will be released as they become available.
