Magnetic Hill Zoo earns 2014 TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence

May 30, 2014

MONCTON – The City of Moncton is proud to announce that the Magnetic Hill Zoo has received a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence award for the second consecutive year.

The accolade, which honours hospitality excellence, is given only to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveler reviews on TripAdvisor, and is extended to qualifying businesses worldwide. Only the top-performing 10 percent of businesses listed on TripAdvisor receive this prestigious award.

“This is a great recognition for the Magnetic Hill Zoo and for Moncton,” said Moncton Mayor George LeBlanc. “The Magnetic Hill Zoo is one of Moncton’s best attractions and is truly a must-visit destination.”

To qualify for a Certificate of Excellence, businesses must maintain an overall rating of four or higher, out of a possible five, as reviewed by travelers on TripAdvisor, and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months. Additional criteria include the volume of reviews received within the last 12 months.

“We’re extremely honoured to once again receive this recognition from TripAdvisor,” said Bruce Dougan, Manager of the Magnetic Hill Zoo. “We work incredibly hard to make the zoo a fun, educational and interactive place to visit for tourists and residents alike. I would like to thank our staff and volunteers for making this possible.”
