Maintenance related work on various City Streets

June 7, 2013

MONCTON – The City of Moncton wishes to advise the motoring public that maintenance related work will be performed on the following streets on Sunday, June 9 and Monday, June 10, 2013: King Street (from Main Street to Botsford Street); Main Street (from Enterprise Street to Bonaccord Street, and from Mechanic Street to Dieppe city limits); Assomption Boulevard (from Vaughan Harvey Boulevard to the former detention centre); St. George Boulevard (from Edinburgh Drive to Bessborough Avenue and from Milner Road to Vaughan Harvey Boulevard); and Mapleton Road (from Hopper Street to Trans-Canada Highway).

This maintenance work is to allow crews to perform crack sealing on the above-mentioned streets.

Delays are to be expected in the area as traffic will be slowed. Motorists are advised to use an alternative route to avoid the construction area.

The City apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciates the patience and cooperation of residents and the motoring public.
