Moncton City Council to debate proposed 2014 Operations Budget

MONCTON – The City of Moncton’s Chief Financial Officer John Martin, will deliver the City’s 2014 Operations Budget presentation on Monday, December 2 during the regularly-scheduled public meeting of Council. 

Council will then deliberate on the proposed budget on Thursday, December 5 and Friday, December 6. All are welcome to attend the City’s budget deliberations which will take place in Council Chambers at Moncton City Hall. Details regarding the agenda are as follows:

Thursday, December 5 (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.)

  • Presentations – Agencies, Boards and Commissions (9 a.m. to 11 a.m.)
  • Departmental Budgets (11 a.m. to 4 p.m.; 30 min. lunch break at 12:30 p.m.)

Friday, December 6 (9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.)

  • Departmental Budgets (continued from December 5)

Please note this schedule is subject to change.  All meetings will be simultaneously translated in English and in French, and held in the City Council Chambers, Moncton City Hall, 655 Main St.
