Parking on city streets

February 3, 2015

MONCTON – In order to assist crews during snow removal operations, the City of Moncton is asking residents not to park on the street at any time, day or night, including streets with parking meters.

With the amount of snow that has accumulated in the last week (approximately 140 centimeters in seven days), most streets have become very narrow. Vehicles parked on the street impede safe passage for those traveling on the street, including emergency services.

The City of Moncton thanks its residents for their assistance in making our streets safer.
