Public Consultation – Victoria Park Fountain Replacement

July 12, 2016

MONCTON – The City of Moncton invites all residents to a public consultation meeting on Thursday, July 14 at Victoria Park (175 Park Street) at 6:30 p.m. to discuss the proposed fountain replacement.  In the case of inclement weather, the meeting will take place at Moncton City Hall (655 Main Street.) Comments may also be submitted online at moncton.ca until July 31, 2016.

The current fountain is over 50 years old and at the end of its serviceable life. There will be a brief presentation followed by an opportunity to share feedback one on one with staff.

Over the past few decades, the fountain has been the backdrop to thousands of photographs for weddings, family reunions and proms.  The City of Moncton invites the community to consider all four seasons while providing their feedback for the replacement of the fountain.

The City thanks residents for their participation during consultations.
