REMINDER – New Bulk Waste Collection Program replaces Spring Clean-up

May 4, 2015

MONCTON – The City of Moncton would like to take this opportunity to remind residents that the new Bulk Waste Collection Program, which was launched in March, has replaced the annual Spring Clean-up.

The new program will allow residents to dispose of their bulk waste items such as furniture, appliances and yard waste up to ten (10) times throughout the year.

Under this new collection program, the city has been divided into five bulk waste zones and will be serviced in a rotating five-week cycle. Each Wednesday, a different zone in the cycle will be serviced and residents in that area can leave up to four bulk items at curbside. Pick up service must be scheduled and to do so, residents must call 384-5398 or go online to submit a simple form. Details of the service, including a zoning map, calendar, program guidelines, timelines, and the form can be found at moncton.ca/bulkwaste.

For any information regarding the City’s new Bulk Waste Collection Program, please contact 384-5398 or email monctonbulkwaste@gflenv.com.
