Road Closures for Acadie Rock Festival

MONCTON - The City of Moncton wishes to advise the motoring public of delays or detours in the following areas to allow the following events to occur: Acadie Rock Festival on Thursday, August 15, 2013.

As a part of the Acadie Rock Festival, the annual parade (Tintamarre) will depart from the Aberdeen Cultural Centre at 7 pm. The parade will begin on Botsford Street, turning left on Main Street, then right on Downing and ending at the Riverfront parking lot next to the Moncton Press Club. The duration of the closure will be approximately 30 minutes and the streets will be reopened as the procession moves along. 

The City is asking motorists to use alternate routes when at all possible, and apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause, and also encourages residents and visitors to check out the events.
