Road closures for the Pride Week, presented by River of Pride

MONCTON - The City of Moncton wishes to advise the motoring public of delays or detours in the following areas to accommodate Pride Week and the happening of the River of Pride parade as well as the River of Pride Street Party!

Parade Street Closure:

Parade staging: From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 20.

  • Foundry Street, from Record Street to Main Street will be closed leaving the intersection of Foundy/Record open to traffic. 

Parade: From 1 p.m. to approximately 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 20.

  • Main Street from Foundry Street to Mechanic Street going down to the Riverfront Park will also be closed. The street will be reopened as the parade progresses.  

Street Party Closure:

From 5 p.m. to 11:45 p.m.  St. George Street will be close from Archibald Street to Lutz Street leaving the intersection of St. George/Archibald and St. George/Lutz open to traffic.
