Sunny Brae Legion Remembrance Day Parade – Street Closures

MONCTON - The City of Moncton wishes to advise the motoring public of delays or detours in the following areas to accommodate the Remembrance Day Parade happening on Saturday, November 11, 2017.

Street Closure:

  • Intermittent closures from 10 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 11, 2017:
    Closure of Broadway Street (from Sunny Brae Legion to Massey Avenue), Massey Avenue (from Broadway Street to Peter Street) and Peter Street (from Massey Avenue to Sunny Brae Park) at 10 a.m. to allow for the parade route to commence at approximately 10:45 a.m. (streets will be reopened as parade passes)
    The same streets will be closed at 12 p.m. to allow for the parade to return to the Legion (streets will be reopened as parade passes)
  • The estimated time for each parade processional is 15 minutes.

The City apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause, but also encourages travelers to check out the event.
