Thomas Williams House Kicks Off Leisurely Summer

June 20, 2014

MONCTON - The Thomas Williams House will be kicking off its summer season on Saturday, June 21, 2014 with a weekend of Victorian Leisure! Join us and discover the parlor and lawn games that were played in the Victorian era. Return to the House every Sunday for more games and to learn how the Industrial Revolution changed how we experience leisure.

New this summer will be the exhibition Small Town, Big Fashion! The temporary exhibition will show the progression of fashion over a hundred-year period, using women’s garments from the Keillor House Museum collection. On display in the double parlor of the Thomas William House, the exhibition will run to August 24 during regular hours.

For more information, call (506) 857-0590.

The Thomas Williams House is open Wednesday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tours are offered. Afternoon tea will be served in the Tearoom Wednesdays through Sundays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. (exceptionally from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on July 1st).

Admission is by donation.
