Transportation Options for summer events at Stade Moncton Stadium

Variety of options for Nitro Circus and AtlanticFest

MONCTON – The City of Moncton is pleased to welcome two exciting events to the Stade Moncton Stadium in 2016. Nitro Circus Live will be held on July 29, and AtlanticFest, featuring Selena Gomez, will be held on September 4. The following outlines the various transportation options available for BOTH summer events.

Park and Ride

  • Official Park ‘N Ride parking is at the Moncton Coliseum (377 Killam Drive).
  • Bracelets will be available for purchase on event day at the Park ‘N Ride booths in the Moncton Coliseum lot (cash only) – $12/person (tax included).
  • Shuttles will depart from the Moncton Coliseum:
    o For Nitro Circus (July 29) beginning at 4 p.m.
    o For AtlanticFest (September 4) beginning at 12 p.m.
  • Patrons will be dropped off at a designated area of the Université de Moncton campus (corner of Massey Avenue and Hillside Drive).
  • Post-event shuttles will depart from the same drop-off location near the Stade Moncton Stadium and will continue to transport event-goers to the Moncton Coliseum until all customers have been served.
  • Carpooling to the Moncton Coliseum is encouraged!
  • Taxi service will be available from the Moncton Coliseum lot, following the event(s).
  • Bracelets will be sold on a first come, first serve basis.

On-Campus Parking

  • There are a limited number of parking spaces on the Université de Moncton campus for both summer events.
  • Parking spaces will be available for $25/vehicle per event and MUST be purchased in advance.
  • NO parking will be sold on site during either event.
  • To purchase event parking passes, please visit tickets.moncton.ca. On event days, patrons with valid event parking passes must enter the campus via Université Avenue and Antonine-Maillet Avenue (west), by the Aréna J.-Louis-Lévesque Arena, and parking attendants will direct vehicles to the appropriate lots. Lots will be open to the public three (3) hours prior to each event.
  • Security will be on site to ensure the smooth flow of traffic.
  • Parking for both events will be on sale on Friday, July 15 at 10 a.m.

Codiac Transpo 

  • Visit codiactranspo.ca and click on ‘Bus Catcher’ to plan the best route to the Stade Moncton Stadium.
  • On July 29 and September 4, Codiac Transpo routes #61 Elmwood and #61 Elmwood B, will be detoured:
    o Both buses will not travel on Antonine-Maillet Avenue or Pascal-Poirier Street, but instead will use Université Avenue to Morton Avenue.
  • Regular fee applies: $2.25/person/ride (summer promotion: free for K-12 students on July 29 only).

Spectator Access (Walk-up, bicycle, etc.)
Event-goers who wish to walk or bike can access the Stade Moncton Stadium by entering the campus via regular access points:

  • Antonine-Maillet Avenue (South of Stade Moncton Stadium, general spectators);
  • Antonine-Maillet Avenue (South West of Stade Moncton Stadium, accessible entrance);
  • McLaughlin Drive (East of Stade Moncton Stadium, general spectators).

Bike lock-ups are available adjacent to the stadium box office.

Spectator Drop-off
Those spectators wishing to be dropped off at the event (personal vehicle, taxi, etc.) can do so at Hillside Drive and Massey Avenue. 

Accessible Access
Accessible drop-off areas at the Stade Moncton Stadium can be accessed via Pascal-Poirier Street, with the proper accessible identification.
