Tree removal required on City property

August 29, 2013
MONCTON – The City of Moncton wishes to advise residents that within the next week, crews will be cutting a number of trees located near the intersection of Mountain Road, Bonaccord Street and John Street.
“These trees have overgrown their environment and could pose some risk to the neighbouring house,” said Dan Hicks, Supervisor of Parks and Grounds for the City of Moncton. “We will be replacing the trees with appropriate greenery, such as shrubs, which will improve site lines and make the area more aesthetically pleasing.”
The City of Moncton values its natural assets and is committed to protecting the municipality’s environment and green spaces.
