MONCTON – The City of Moncton’s Utilities Division is advising motorists and residents of a water service line break on Salisbury Road.

This morning an important break occurred on an 8” water main on Salisbury Road at Atlantic Baptist Avenue. The break caused loss of water pressure west of White Frost Village.

By 8:30 a.m. crews isolated the break. They are now working on the repairs. For the duration of the work, residents west of White Frost Village will have their water service interrupted in order to complete the work.

Salisbury Road is down to one lane of traffic in the affected area. Lane reduction will be in place until the repairs are complete. Delays are to be expected in the area. Motorists are advised to use an alternative route.

The City apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause, and appreciates the patience and cooperation of customers/residents.
