Bulk Waste

The City of Moncton’s Bulk Waste Collection Program provides year-round pick up of large waste items, such as furniture, appliances and yard waste.

Under this program, residents will need to call or fill out a simple online form ahead of time to schedule a pick-up. City neighbourhoods have been allocated into one of five zones. Collection crews will be visiting each of the zones on a rotating five-week basis, with pick-ups taking place on Wednesdays.

Disposing of your bulk waste is easy!

To have your bulk items collected:

  1. Check the Bulk Waste Collection List to ensure your items can be taken away. A maximum of four (4) items will be collected per visit.
  2. Find out when collection crews will be in your area. Collection map/calendar
  3. Schedule a pick up:
Online – Fill out the Collection Request Form by 11:59 p.m. the Sunday before your neighbourhood’s scheduled Wednesday collection.
By Phone – Call 383-7020 by 5 p.m. the Friday before your neighbourhood’s scheduled Wednesday collection. Please have the civic address, number and list of items to be collected and your zone (if possible).
  4. Leave your items on the curb by 7 a.m. on the scheduled Wednesday. Do not put your items at the curb earlier than 5 days prior to pick-up. Crews may take up to 48 hours to pick-up your items.
