Arts & Culture

Arts & Culture bannerMoncton boasts a varied and vibrant cultural scene. In addition to enhancing the quality of life for residents and offering unique experiences to visitors, the cultural sector is also a driving force for the economic development of our city as well as an integral part of our community's identity. In addition to the numerous festivals and events that take place in the city, Moncton is also home to a wide-ranging collection of fine art, many of which are part of the City of Moncton's Fine Arts Collection.

Moncton Cultural Plan

The City of Moncton has adopted a new cultural strategic plan to guide cultural development in the city for the next ten years. This document was created through an extensive consultation process and we wish to thank everyone who participated.

The plan is comprised of two parts: a theory and background section that explains the process, emerging themes and strategic directions and an implementation plan for the next ten years. You can read the full 2016-2026 Moncton Cultural Plan here.
