Parking Meters
The City of Moncton’s Parking Services maintains and operates all parking meters in Moncton. Parking meters are located on city streets in the downtown area and around both hospitals.
The time limits and rates for meters vary depending on their location. Maximum limits range from 30 minutes to 12 hours and rates can range from $0.50 to a $1.25.
Parking meters are in operation Monday through Friday, between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m., with the exception of meters near hospitals, which operate until 10 p.m. Parking meters are free of charge on statutory holidays.
Meters accept all Canadian and American coin denominations, or the ParkCard.

Reporting Meter Problems: If a parking meter will not accept coins, is damaged, or presents any other problems, please contact Parking Services at 506-859-2656 or e-mail at info.parking@moncton.ca. In order to help us serve you better, please note the seven-digit meter number when reporting a problem with a particular meter.
