Parking Meters

The City of Moncton’s Parking Services maintains and operates all parking meters in Moncton. Parking meters are located on city streets in the downtown area and around both hospitals.

The time limits and rates for meters vary depending on their location. Maximum limits range from 30 minutes to 12 hours and rates can range from $1.00 to a $1.75.

Parking meters are in operation Monday through Friday, between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m., with the exception of meters near hospitals, which operate until 10 p.m. Parking meters are free of charge on statutory holidays.

Meters accept all Canadian and American coin denominations, or the ParkCard.
