Moncton Heritage Week 2023

Join us for the fourth edition of Moncton Heritage Week, presented by the City of Moncton's Heritage Conservation Board, the Culture and Heritage department, the Planning and Development department and local partners.

All events are free, and open to all!
 

2023 Program

Monday, October 16 at 4 p.m.: Event Launch

Heritage Week program launch at the City Council meeting along with presentation of 3 heritage plaques.

Tuesday, October 17 at noon: Culture and Heritage Scavenger Hunt launch

 A fun, family-friendly way to discover Moncton’s cultural and historic landscapes.

Wednesday, October 18 at 7 p.m.: Heritage Awards Ceremony

Heritage Awards Ceremony at City Hall. The following awards will be presented:

  • Preservation/Restoration Award
  • Rehabilitation/Adaptive Reuse Award
  • Special Recognition Award: Stewardship
  • Special Recognition Award: Heritage Tradespeople/Craftspeople

 

Thursday, October 19 at 5 p.m.: Moncton Museum’s 50th-Anniversary celebration!

Discover a special exhibition and enjoy an evening of sharing stories, games and other surprises!

Saturday, October 21 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Doors Open

Doors Open is back! Participants are invited to discover 3 remarkable heritage properties with a unique “behind the scenes” experience.
