We will be hosting employment and entrepreneurship services, government agencies, settlement agencies, language services, and volunteer-based organizations to help newcomers smoothly transition to the Greater Moncton area. Moncton added 7,600 people to its population between 2016 and 2021, achieving record levels of population growth. Furthermore, relative to population size, Greater Moncton attracted more people (migrants from elsewhere in Canada and immigrants combined) than Halifax, Calgary, Vancouver and more than 90% of Canada’s 130+ urban centres (CMAs/CAs). Our city is competitive in attracting and retaining newcomers on a national scale!
