Street Closure for Mosaïq Multicultural Festival 2023-09-20

 

The City of Moncton wishes to advise the motoring public of delays or detours in the following areas to accommodate the Mosaïq Multicultural Festival happening from Sept. 22 to 23, 2023.

Street Closure: 

On Saturday, Sept. 23, Main Street, from Westmorland Street to Mechanic Street, and Downing Street will be closed from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. for the Parade of Nations. Parade participants will meet in Oak Lane and depart on Main Street to Downing Street, continuing south on Downing and crossing Assomption Boulevard into Riverfront Park, where festival activities are taking place. 

Noise By-Law exemption: 
 

An exemption has been granted to allow the Mosaïq Multicultural Festival entertainment for their festivities on Friday, Sept. 22 and Saturday, Sept. 23.

The City of Moncton apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause; and invites residents and visitors to take part in these great summer events.
