City of Moncton Logo

The City of Moncton wishes to advise the motoring public that the newly installed traffic lights at the intersection of Shediac Road and Glengrove Road, will begin operating as of Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at 6:30 am.

The new traffic lights will be flashing from Tuesday, August 23 at 6 am until Tuesday, August 30 at 6:30 am. The flashing is to gradually prepare motorists to stop at this new intersection in advance of the signalized intersection coming fully into effect. The traffic lights will be operating with yellow flashing lights on Shediac Road and red flashing lights on Glengrove Road. The flashing yellow light indicates motorists can proceed if it is safe to do so but must exercise caution and be prepared to stop. The flashing red light acts as a stop sign. Motorists in this direction must come to a complete stop and give right of way to those passing through the flashing yellow.

We ask motorists to take extra caution when driving on Shediac Road at Glengrove Road.
