Installation of New All-way Stop Signs 2022-10-26

City of Moncton Logo

The City of Moncton wishes to advise the motoring public that new all-way stop signs are being installed at the intersection of Mill Road and Pleasant Street on Thursday, October 27, weather permitting.

These stop signs are being installed due to high traffic on Mill Road and lengthy delays for vehicles turning from Mill Road to Pleasant Street, especially during peak hours. Vehicles travelling on Pleasant Street which previously did not have to stop, will now come to a complete stop and yield right-of-way as required for an all-way stop.

The crosswalk across Pleasant Street (in front of Lewisville Baptist Church) will be relocated slightly to the stop line at the intersection.

The City appreciates the patience and cooperation of residents and the motoring public.
