Moncton City Council amends water supply by-law

Moncton City Council has given the first reading of an amendment to by-law P-102 (Development, Maintenance and Supply of Water) that delegates emergency authority to the City Manager to impose water consumption restrictions.

Fare collection to resume on Codiac Transpo buses

In recent days and in the days to come, Codiac Transpo has been installing polycarbonate barriers around their operator areas on buses. As such, normal fare collection will resume on Monday, August 24, 2020 with numerous changes. Masks remain required on buses and capacity remains at 50%.

Water Quality at risk due to blue-green algae

The City of Moncton advises customers that there is currently a high risk of a blue-green algae bloom in the Tower Road reservoir, which supplies water to the primary Turtle Creek reservoir.
