City of Moncton Reduces the Tax Rate by over 10.25 cents and Sees Positive Growth

Moncton City Council adopted its 2022 Budget during the November 5, 2021 Special Public Council meeting. Residents’ tax rate is reduced from $1.6497 to $1.5472 per hundred dollars of assessed value. In addition, the overall assessment base for the City increased by 10.89% for 2022.
