Moncton Heritage Week

Heritage Week program launch at the City Council meeting.

 A fun, family-friendly way to discover Moncton’s cultural and historic landscapes.

Printed copies will be available to pick up at Resurgo Place and the Musée acadien de l’Université de Moncton.

Once completed, add your name, number and send or bring your sheets to Resurgo Place (info [at] resurgo.ca (info[at]resurgo[dot]ca)) before 5 p.m. on Sunday, November 1st for the chance to win prizes!

Heritage Awards Ceremony and presentation of three plaques at the Empress Theatre. The following awards will be presented: 

• Preservation/Restoration Award 
• Rehabilitation/Adaptive Reuse Award 
• DMCI Special Recognition Award: Stewardship 
• Special Recognition Award: Advocacy/Heritage Education

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the ceremony will begin at 7 p.m. 

Guided tour of the Léopold-Taillon building – interior, exterior, and observatory.

Duration: 90 minutes

Departure: Main entrance of the Léopold-Taillon building.

Heritage in the Making: an interactive, educational pop-up event with stonemason, Scott Harris and artist, Natt Cann.

Doors Open is back! Participants are invited to discover three remarkable heritage properties with a unique "behind the scenes" experience.

-              5 Thanet Street, Highfield Pumping Station
